Jeff McDonald grew up in Forest River, ND, where he first started mowing lawns as a boy. Later Jeff would found a lawn service company in Buffalo, MN, which he eventually sold to an employee and their father. After working for welding fabrication and finance companies, the ardent entrepreneur returned to his home state where he established a trucking company.

Although the trucking business has been kind to Jeff, he has greatly enjoyed lawn care since his youth. That passion compelled Jeff to found Finish Line Outdoor Services, which now serves our residential and commercial clients throughout the greater Grand Forks, ND area for all their mowing, landscaping, snow removal and parking lot striping needs – and much more!

When Jeff isn’t hard at work, he enjoys racing street stock, dirt stock and late model racecars (all slightly faster vehicles than his customary riding mower). Jeff’s daughter is already revealing herself to be quite the competent racer on dirt tracks.
